Hello Friends!!, here I am participating in a blog hop to showcase new products from the upcoming catalog to be released on June 1, so be sure to go thru this blog hop as we show you a sneak peek of brand new products!!
Please note that we have a global team participating on this hop, which I think is great as you get to know other participants across the globe that you might not know of.. there are a lot of great and very talented demonstrators so I am sure you will get a lot of inspiration from the projects being shared with you.
The card that I am sharing today is featuring the Graceful Glass Suite!! this suite has a pack of designer vellum that coordinates pretty well with the Panted bundle which has a stamp set and a coordinating framelits.
This whole suite is really beautiful and in a way it makes me remember the beauty and the beast movie.. this flower for instance and the font on the sentiments as well..
The vellum was colored using the stampin’ blends, and as you can see here there are new colors!! I am so excited with this!! In the new catalog there are 11 new stampin’ blends colors!!! on this card I used the Call me Clover new color, which also happens to be one of the NEW In-colors!!
I am so excited to have new colors on the blends as these have become my favorite way of coloring, and using these for coloring vellum is super easy!! the ink dry super fast! and if you color outside the lines (not that this happen often – wink) you can remove the excess with the color lifter (white blend) so you cannot go wrong with these!!
On this close up, you can see also a new embellishment, the black cord, which in person looks so nice, as this is shiny.. it really looks very nice.
- Fold in half the card base using the bone folder
- Color the vellum using the stampin’ blends, I use the Call me Clover both shades and the light shade of Rich Razzleberry, then using glue dots, glue the vellum to the Whisper White (same size), and using snail glue this piece to the Mat (Basic Black) and glue this section to the front of the card base
- Using the Memento ink pad, stamp the sentiment and punch the circle out of the Whisper white scrap, and also stamp the rose and die cut it, color it using both shades of Rich Razzleberry and Call me Clover; Glue the rose to the circle using dimentionals and glue the circle to the starburst piece using dimentionals.
- Add the black cord in a zig-zag and then using dimentionals Glue the sentiment on top of the cord.
Please remember to visit all the talented demonstrators participating on this hop, I am sure you will enjoy all the different projects!!! Below is complete line up on this blog hop
