Hello Friends!!! Today, I want to show you the three cards we made last Thursday during the facebook live event!! as I mentioned in earlier posts I am showing you how to make cards with the suggested starter kit!!
Remember, this month, when you purchase the starter kit, you get an ink pad family of your choice for FREE in addition to the already great deal the starter kit is!! you can read all the details HERE as well as watch both the suggested starter kit video and a video I made regarding the perks we get for being part of my team!!! let me know if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you.. 🙂
So now lets talk about the cards I showed last Thursday!!! all of them are super quick and easy, as you can see..
The little rhino was die cut with the animal friends thinlits!! so no fussy cutting on this one!!! it went super quick as you just line them up and run it thru your big shot and voila! all is done..
Please note that on the sheet of designer series paper, there are kangaroos, rhinos and Giraffes, however they have both images facing both sides, one side you can die cut, but the opposite side you will not, so that one would have to be fussy cut.. you see what I mean on the video tutorial..
The leaves on this cards were also die cut with the thinlits on this suite!
The following card I used the stitched shapes framelits and the layering ovals to cut the critter on this side, if you don’t have these items, you can make rectangle cut with your trimmer and still get the same look or layout..
Here is a close up picture of this card.. I honestly think that I could have added some wink of stella to the birds or the leaves to add some shimmery to this card, but I wanted to stay as much as I could with the items on the starter kit and I had already used framelits not included.. lol
The final card was as well super quick and easy, though I had fussy cut this rhino, as I had not found out that this one could be cut with the thinlits, lol, so it would be even quicker!!
and I close up picture of this card!! so you can see better the details.. 🙂
Here is the video tutorial from the facebook live event where I go over measurements, tips and other instructions on how to make these cards.. I really enjoyed so much playing with the Animal Outing suite!! all cards I have made this week had been so quick and easy, and I am sure you can duplicate all of them, specially if you get all the items on the suggested starter kit.. (wink – wink)
