Cute Valentine’s Card
As I mentioned at the beginning, I decided to feature the Nuts & Bolts stamp set for my Valentine’s card since it is super cute! And I paired it with the Sweet Talk suite!
The designer series paper (DSP) in this suite is all about hearts and candies, making it perfect to make all your Valentine’s projects! you can see them below!
And the Bundle in this suite is super cute as well! The stamp set is amazing as you can see below, and the die set is just great for projects as there are tons of dies for little hearts so it makes it easy and fast to get the die cuts for embellishments!
Here is my Valentine’s card! is this not the cutest little robot?
If you remember a couple of days ago I shared another Cute Valentine’s Card on this post here featuring as well the Nuts & Bolts Stamp set. And if you want more sample ideas with the Sweet Talk Suite, then check out this post as well.
Color Combination
As usual I used the DSP as inspiration for my color combination. If you ever struggle with color combinations then make sure to follow the colors you see in the DSP! It works like magic every single time!
I wanted to share with you the sketch that inspired my card, I definitely love love love using sketches!
If you ever struggle getting into your creative mojo, try using sketches.. they will help you every single time! I promise you.. you can change the colors, the DSP pattern, the stamp set, the shapes, so you get a new card every single time. Even when you’re using the SAME sketch!
Believe me I do this every single time!
For the robot I decided to stamp it with memento and then color it with stampin’ blends and then I added the glitter look into the heart using Wink of Stella.. If you love glitter, but never use it because of the mess you get, then consider using wink of stella.. this will help you get the glittery look without the mess.

Color Combination
As usual I used the DSP as inspiration for my color combination. If you ever struggle with color combinations then make sure to follow the colors you see in the DSP! It works like magic every single time!
For this Valentine’s card you can see that I used the dies to create some dimension and texture to the front panel. I found this idea from another fellow demonstrator – Melisa Faust on Pinterest!
IF you ever want to get ideas, try looking on Pinterest or Instagram.. Just limit the time you spent on it 😉.. I love getting the ideas and inspiration from others whenever I go online so that I can try them later on.
I changed my layout and did this easy fun fold where you incorporate the DSP as dart of the front cover, so you can see both sides of this gorgeous paper!
Also for the robot, I decided to color it using the blends! definitely this is my favorite way to color images..

With Valentines being tomorrow, I am sharing three cute friendship handmade cards that you can send to your love ones during this month… But apart from that this post is actually part of a blog hop, which theme is Friendship and Valentines.
So if you are looking for ideas or inspiration related to friendship or valentines, then you will hoping with us.. Not to mention that the group participating in today’s blog hop is amazing! I know you will find lots of ideas and will get so inspired to craft right away!
Bet let’s get started!
Three cute Friendship Handmade Cards
For the cards I am featuring today I decided to use the “Love You Always” suite, mainly because I wanted to use the designer series papers from this collection.
There are three paper packs that coordinate beautifully. The Love You Always specialty paper comes in three colors, and all sheets have a beautiful foil in the same color! So the paper just looks super luxurious, making your cards stand out even more.
The True Love designer series paper is all in white and black, so this is great for backgrounds, as well as coloring the larger images, like I did in my cards.
And finally the Love You Always Foil sheets, as its name says it, it is foil paper. And it comes in the same colors as the Love You Always specialty paper. So these two coordinate so nice when using them together!
The Color Combination
Since I wanted to use the Rococo Rose paper from the Love You Always Specialty paper pack, I decided to go for the following color combination.
Following the colors from the paper packs makes it easy to pick color combinations for your cards. So if you have ever struggle with color combination ideas, try to use colors from the papers you want to use. You will see that then the rest comes super easy.
And as usual, since I had already picked the paper I wanted to use, I just needed to pick sketches to come up with my card ideas..
Below you will see all sketches and the cards I made with that in mind.
The first two cards are fun folds, so make sure you watch the video tutorial to see how to put these cards together. Additionally, I colored the flowers from the True Love designer series paper using the alcohol markers and then cut them out with the scissors. This helped me tremendously with embellishing my cards as you can see in the cards bellow.
For all the cards, I used the foil in the coordinated color. However, please note, that I usually just add a little bit of the foil in my cards, to not overwhelm the design but instead to highlight some areas.
If you ever want to use the specialty paper like foil, and are struggling with how to use it, I would suggest to start with little accents like banners, or detailed dies that will show little, or maybe for a word die cut as I showed in these cards. Believe me this would help you get more confident using these type of specialty paper.
Also, if you liked this post and want a couple of extra projects using exactly the same supplies make sure you see the following post! I know you will love this card and this cute treat holder that you can make in no time to give your loved ones!

Are you still making Valentine’s cards? if so, you are in for a treat!!! As today’s Blog hop theme is Love is in the air!
When I saw this month’s theme was all about Valentine’s projects, I got super excited, mainly because I really enjoy making Valentine’s cards. And this year, Stampin’ Up! released an over-the-moon cute suite called “From my Heart”. So if you like pinks and reds and hearts, then you will love playing with this suite.
Anyway, I have been seeing lots and lots of samples for Valentine’s cards using the “From my Heart” suite, and I fell in love when I saw some samples mixing this suite with the Bonanza Buddies bundle. I definitely wanted to give it a try and make my own Valentine’s card mixing these products.
And since I was going bananas with Valentine’s hearts, I decided I wanted to used the “Stitched be mine” dies to complement all the hearts I had in mind for the Valentine’s card I wanted to make.
The cutest Valentine’s card using two of my favorite both suites
See how cute this valentine’s card turned out!!! the designer series paper, a.k.a. DSP or patterned paper, I used was the “From my Heart” DSP, which is actually a specialty one as it has red and pink foil elements on the sheets! You cannot really see it in the picture, but if you watch the video-tutorial at the end of this post, you can appreciate it better.
As usual I followed the color combo from the patterned paper, so in this case it is Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White! They really go well together.
For the little Koala I used the Smoky Slate ink for its body and Memento ink for its face. I also added a little heart epoxy droplet that I colored with Cherry Cobbler Dark stampin’ blend a.k.a. alcohol marker, this added a really nice touch on the Koala!!
Finally, I wanted lots of hearts for the background, so I die cut several heart shapes from the “Stitched Be Mine” dies in Real red and Whisper White. I also punched one heart from the DSP using one of the heart punches.
👉 As a tip for you, I usually lay all the hearts out on the card to see how I want them to line up! Once I like how the card looks, I glue the hearts down.
