Three Valentine’s cards using From my Heart suite from Stampin’ Up

As I mentioned above, today’s post is to share three easy to make Valentine’s cards, and for these cards I have used the “From my Heart” suite from Stampin’ Up!

This suite is from the Spring Catalog and is filled with lots of products that are perfect for your Valentine’s cards. The “From my Heart” Designer Series Paper a.k.a. DSP or patterned paper is covered in foiled images that will surely help enhance all your projects!

On this post you will learn how to make three easy Valentine's cards using the From my Heart suite from Stampin' Up!

The main colors on this DSP is Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Whisper White, which go really well with all other products on this collection.

As usual, this suite has a coordinating bundle. This is the Heartfelt Bundle, which consists of one stamp set and two punches that make coordinating hearts! how cute is that?

In addition to these products, this suite also has heart doilies that are super cute! and they look so great when paired with the hear punches included in the heartfelt bundle!

Finally, this suite has as well a real red double stitched satin ribbon that coordinates really well with the DSP.

Over all all the products on this suite coordinate beautifully and they will sure help you create easy and quick Valentine’s cards!

Valentine’s Card #1

On this post you will learn how to make three easy Valentine's cards using the From my Heart suite from Stampin' Up!This card is made following a very simple lay out. As you can see the DSP is glued following the edge of card base.

I then added a focal point using a piece of whisper white and basic black and then added a heart doily and a set of coordinating hearts.

Please note that the whisper white heart was stamped with real read for the border and flirty flamingo for the sentiment.

Additionally, I wanted an extra sentiment, so I added a banner with the sentiment stamped in basic black.

To make this card pop up a bit more, I added two heart epoxy droplets that I colored using the dark cherry cobbler stampin’ blend a.k.a. alcohol marker. And finally I glue a bow made with the real red double stitched ribbon.

Valentine’s Card #2

On this post you will learn how to make three easy Valentine's cards using the From my Heart suite from Stampin' Up!The second Valentine’s card is as easy as the first one. I used the DSP to decorate the front of the card but I added a little border in flirty flamingo.

I then added the ribbon in a zigzag pattern and then glue the heart doily on top of the ribbon.

Same as before, I made a coordinating heart using real red and the DSP to go on top of the doily, as well as a sentiment in real read and stamped in basic black.

And to finish this card I added a heart epoxy droplet that I had previously colored with dark cherry cobbler stampin’ blend.

Valentine’s Card using Heartfelt Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Hello there!! I know it has been a while since I last posted cards on my blog, however I have been sharing lots of fun and easy-to-make cards on my Facebook page and over on YouTube, I just have been extremely busy to actually blog about all the cards I have made, but I promise you that during 2020 I will do much better.. at least that is one my resolutions this year 😉😉😉

You know, it is really hard at times to do all things, considering I have also a full time job, as well as two little ones and a husband, there is a lot of demanding attention going to all places, and so sometimes blogging takes a back seat..

Funny as it sounds, I truly believe making videos is way easier for me than actually writing.. I guess cause I have never been a lady of too many words… or at least of too many written words! ha!

I love to make quick and easy cards, as crafting really keeps me calm when life is coming at me in all directions. I feel like making cards is a great therapy! so even though I am not constantly blogging, I am always creating a card!

And today I am sharing with you a quick and easy Valentine’s card!! This card is using the brand new bundle Heartfelt  from Stampin’ Up!

Quick and easy Valentine’s card!

As usual, I am sharing with you a quick and easy card, as I know that you are like me and I know that your crafting time is very limited! so you want to create something cute but fast at the same time, as we don’t have unlimited crafting time.. at least not now..
Valentine's card using Heartfelt bundle from Stampin' Up!

As you can see from the picture above, the new suite “From my Heart” from Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to make your valentine’s cards, you can see I used the brand new heart doilies, which are adorable and they come in two color’s, well actually three, as you can flip it and get a white doily, but you get these cute doilies in Real Red and Flirty Flamingo..

This cute embellishment really makes it so easy to put cards together. You just glue the doily down to your card and it adds a lot of detail to your project!! seriously.. that easy!..

On this card I added another heart layer on top of the doily. This heart came from the From my heart designer series paper, and it was punched with the scalloped punch included in the Heartfelt bundle! I love having punches as these are super easy to use and makes it faster to make embellishments to decorate a project.
