I recently found out about Freshly Made Sketch and thought it was a great concept to make cards based on a sketch they provide!! This helps me a lot to get my creative juices going.. this sketch was so easy and clean that I could not pass on it.. I will try to participate more on these type of challenges thru the month as I think it helps me a lot to come up with ideas of what to create!! here is the Sketch that was provided!!
And this is the card that I came up with following this challenge.. This was so easy to follow and it goes really well with my Quick and Easy cards.. 🙂 don’t you think??
You can see a close up of the panda coloring.. I use stampin’ blends markers to give him cheeks, and a little bit of shadows using the light smoky slate blends marker.. I also colored the balloon with the pool party blends marker set and of course I had to add Wink of Stella, cause wouldn’t I?? seriously!!! it adds a great shimmery look on the balloon!!
The Designer Series Paper I use is for the Petal Passion DSP, this one is black and white, however if you see closely you will see I have painted this with the dark pool party blends marker, so technically you can have DSP on any color you want!!! I love coloring with the stampin’ blends markers, these are alcohol based, so it is so easy to color and you cant see the strokes of your coloring.. these are truly great markers..
