Hello Friends!! today I am participating on the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop, I am particularly excited with this month’s theme as it is favorite techniques! and I believe you will be able to learn so much from all the demonstrators around the wold participating on this event! so make sure you visit all blogs on this hop! you do not want to miss any of them!! 🙂
The technique I chose for this event is coloring with Stampin’ Blends! if you have been following my blog, you probably know that I absolutely love coloring with these alcohol markers! these are fabulous, I love how well these blend and the fact that you don’t see any strokes as you color with them!
Stampin’ Up! has so many colors that of course color coordinate with all the colors available in the Stampin’ Up! family, so when designing your projects this makes it so easy, as the embellishments, cardstock, inkpads and markers all coordinate!! Also these markers have a light and a dark shade, so you can do some shading when blending, you can mix and match colors, like I have done for this card. There is no Coastal Cabana blends, however I mixed the dark pool party with the light bermuda bay and it looks really well with the coastal cabana! don’t you agree?
I filmed a video so you could see some tips and tricks about coloring with Stampin’ blends, so be sure to watch the video 🙂
I used the sweet baby bundle for this card. Is that not the cutest little baby? Also check the edge on the card front, this was made with one of the dies from the framelits set in this bundle! I really liked the scallop edge with the stitched lines.
Watch the video tutorial below, where I go over measurements, tips and tricks on how to make this card. You will see that this card is so easy to duplicate!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, do not forget to visit all participating blogs on this event! I am sure you will truly enjoy learning more techniques as you hop with us. 🙂 Below is the full line up of blogs participating, you are in Alejandra Gomez – Creating with Allie – US
