Hello Friends! Today I want to share three handmade card ideas using the Falling for Leaves stamp set from Stampin’ Up! these are great now that we are on full swing of the fall season!
The first card features the detailed leaves thinlits which has fantasitic die cut designs that could stand alone, like I show in this project. The maple leaf on this card look fantastic and it is the main focus element on my card!
To embellish this card I used the burlap ribbon and also the braided linen trim as I wanted to have an earthy look on this card. The color combination from this card came from the Nature’s Poem, as I shared in the past, I get most of my color combinations by looking at colors from the designer series paper packs, I find them that they inspire me a lot!
The second card I made on this event was a card that features coloring with stampin’ blends!! as you all know the alcohol markers are by far my favorite technique for coloring, and this set screams coloring!!
I colored this card using cajun craze, old olive and mango melody. The sentiment on this card came from the country home stamp set! I really think that both the Falling for Leaves and the Country Home stamp sets coordinate pretty well, specially with the sentiments!
The third card is a great way to show how to use the stamp set without having to color too much! the maple leave was stamped on cajun craze cardstock and I only highlighted some areas with the cajun craze stampin’ blends and added the wink of stella on these areas!! it really popped up a lot! I really think this card is cuter in person so you can see the shimmery accents on it!
