Have you been looking for Thank You Handmade Cards to make? if so, then you are in for a treat!  As today I am sharing with you three beautiful Thank you handmade cards using the Dandy Garden Suite from Stampin’ Up!

How to Make Three Thank You Handmade Cards

For my cards today, I wanted to use the Dandy Garden Suite which is becoming a favorite of mine as the color combinations in this paper are really nice. 

Also the stamp set included in this suite has a beautiful set of sentiments that has a Thank You sentiment that would go really well for the theme of my cards. 

I always try to pick a few set of products when coming up cards, as that helps me get my creative juices going.  I can focus on a specific set rather than get overwhelmed with trying to use anything I have.  Give it a try next time you are in your craft room.. Kinda like a challenge if you will. 

Once I pick the products, then I try to see the papers in the collection and pick the patterns I like most. This will help me get a color combination. 

Color Combination 

I think that the greens and yellows in the Dandy Garden paper pack draws me in every single time, so I decided to use exactly those colors when selecting the sheets of paper I would use, and with that I know which Color Combination to use!

Once I picked the papers, and the color combination, then it is just matter of pulling the cardstock, embellishments and inks on those colors to start playing and make my cards. 

Sketches & Other Details 

And as usual, I used sketches to make these cards.. I honestly think this is the best way to come up with as many ideas as you can when you are crafting.. if you have never used them, give them a try! I know that these always help me in getting into my creative mojo every single time! 

                   

As far as the dragonfly, I stamped it with memento ink and then color its wings with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. And to make it even nicer then I added wink of stella to its wings! This added a nice shimmery look to the dragonfly. 

                   

For the bow, I actually used the Braided linen trim in Mossy Meadow, however I unraveled the threads and then make a bow out of it! It really gave so much character to the bow..  I will be honest, this was not my idea.. this was an idea I got during the FB live when I made these cards. Vicky Hendricks suggested it and oh my! I loved how it looked!
