Have you checked out the beautiful Expressions in Ink Suite from the new Annual Catalog? Oh my gosh this is a beautiful suite that helps you make the most artistic cards with ease.
The stamp images give you the watercolor look that feels like you put layers of ink, but is just how the image comes when stamping. So it is super easy to use and to play with.
But before we start, please know that this post is part of an amazing blog hop, where fellow demonstrators around the world will feature thank you cards!
So make sure you hop around with us as you will get lots of great ideas and inspirations for your next crafting project!
Let’s get started!
Expressions in Ink Suite
Below you can see the products in this suite. The designer series paper in this suite is just amazing! It has beautiful backgrounds of a alcohol ink patterns with hints of gold foil. There are other patterns with flowers and details in gold foil as well that pop up nicely in the sheets.
The bundle included in the Expressions in Ink Suite is called Artistically Inked, which like I mentioned before, helps you create beautiful flowers and backgrounds that look artistic.
Not to mention the sentiments in the stamp set are great for multiple occasions, so this is one of those sets that I am sure you can use for lots of cards.
Easy Thank You Card
As mentioned above this suite helps you make really artistic cards in an easy way. You can see on my card below that the layout is simple but the paper makes the work..
I just added a flower stamped in Pale Papaya and the leaves in Pear Pizzas. I added also a few of the element from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack to bring the gold foil of the paper.
To finish off the card I added a few gilded gems and that was it!
Color Combination
As far as the color combination, I just used the colors from the designer series paper (DSP). I selected the sheets I wanted to use and called the colors from those pieces.
That always helps me get color combination in an easy way.
Not to mention that when you use Stampin’ Up! products everything color coordinate. The DSP, the embellishments, the inks, the cardstock, everything! Making it is super easy to make your cards. Believe me! Give it a try and you will see!
