Are you looking for Thank you card ideas? If so, you are in for a treat!! As today I am going to be sharing with you three cute Thank you cards that you will surely want to make.
But before we start, let me tell you that today I am participating in a blog hop where the team of the projects we are sharing is Thank you card ideas! So make sure you check all the participating blogs. I am sure you will get lots and lots of ideas that you will want to case right away!
So let’s get started!
Three Cute Thank You Card Ideas
As you can see in the picture below, this time I used the Turtle friends bundle from the Annual Catalog with the You are Peach Designer Series Paper (DSP).
These Thank You card ideas turned out really cute, and I loved how well the DSP coordinated with the cute Turtle Friends bundle from Stampin’ Up!
Color Combination
As usual I got my color combination from the DSP, and while this particular DSP is all about peaches, you can see that it looks really well with the Turtle set!
Below you can see the color combination I picked for this paper pack
I know I say this all the time, but it truly is the easiest way to get color combos for your cards, just pick a few colors and then pull everything you have in those colors to start playing with them!
Thank You Card Ideas Details
Fancy Fold Thank you card #1
For this first card, as you can see it is a fun easy fun fold that you can make in no time!
You just need to fold the card base in half and then the card front again in half, then it is just matter of embellishing the front.
Just make sure you pay attention to where you are add adhesive when gluing the elements on your cards, as these have to be glued on the left side of the card front to not close your card shut.
And to make this card even cuter, I added another scalloped rectangle for the inside and add the white cardstock and a piece of designer series paper to match the front.
I love adding a small piece of white cardstock, whether it is this decorated, or just plain white cardstock for the area to write my message. This helps me not get overwhelmed so I can quickly address it without feeling like I have to write a novel. I noticed that just doing this small change helped me in mailing cards more frequently.
Thank You Card #2
This sketch is a great one for you to use scraps of designer series paper as you just need to punch out the rectangles using the postage stamp punch and mix and match the patterns, so if you have a lot of little scraps this is a great sketch to use.
Thank You Card #3
I love this layout a lot and I think I have been using it a lot lately! I this this is a great one for you combine patterns from the paper pack of your choice.
Also did you noticed that the turtle is stamped in the Soft Sea Foam and then just added little details with the stampin’ bends? this is an easy way to put together this cute little turtle. You can see exactly how this one is colored and assembled as I popped out the shell with dimensionals. So make sure you watch the video tutorial for these cards.
