How to make greeting cards for Birthday using varied vases bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Hello Friends!! This month is my favorite as my birthday is during this month 🙂 so I decided to post a project about making a birthday card!!

Believe it or not I usually do not get handmade cards, however this year I actually got 6 handmade birthday cards, and they all made me feel so happy, as I felt blessed and special for someone to make a card and send it to me.. this made me remember how important it is for us to be sending the cards we make to our loved ones, to our friends or to acquaintances to let them know that we are thinking of them or to bright their day!

So my post today is to show you that you can make birthday cards super easy so you can make several of these to send, and I challenge you to mail as many cards as you can during this month, I am sure the recipient will absolutely love it! but don’t stop this month, make it a routine to send birthday cards every month. 🙂

The card I am featuring today is using the varied vases bundle, which has a photopolymer stamp set and a coordinating punch! because it is photopolymer you can see thru the images and be able to align the stamps as you stamp the flowers. When stamping with photopolymer stamps be sure to use a foam mat under the cardstock you are stamping, in my case I use the piercing mat from Stampin’ Up!, this helps to transfer the image better when stamping.

The designer series paper that I used for this card is the garden impressions, which comes on a 6×6 pack, so it is perfect for card making, there are tons of really nice designs on this pack, on one side there is a floral design and on the other side there is more of a monochromatic design, so it is perfect when you are coming up with your card making.

Check out the video tutorial showing you how to make a quick and easy card, where I show you tips and tricks for using Stampin Up's Varied Vases Bundle! You‘ll love how quick and easy this is to make! www.creatingwithallie.com #stampinup #alejandragomez #creatingwithallie #videotutorial #cardmaking #papercrafts #handmadegreetingcards #fun #creativity #makeacard #sendacard #stampingisfun #sharewhatyoulove #handmadecards #friendshipcards

As far as color combination, I usually use the colors from the designer series paper pack, and this was no exception for this card. I do this when I am stuck with ideas for color coordination, I just look at the paper pack I have, pick the design I like the most and then pick the colors from that design. Now this tip is usually the best when using Stampin’ Up! products, as they all color coordinate perfectly!, what I mean with this is that the cardstock, the ink, the embellishments and the designer series paper all color coordinate perfectly so this tip is super easy to follow with these products as you don’t have to go to the store and find the exact match on the colors. In this case I wanted to use mainly the Mango Melody, as this was the color on the flowers in the designer series paper and this is the ink pad I used for the flowers I stamped.
