Hello Friends! Today I am participating on Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights, where you get to vote for your 5 favorite cards from all the participating cards on this event. Those that get the most votes will be participating on a blog hop at the beginning of October!
The theme for this month is Congratulations!! with so many things to celebrate this is a great theme to create cards and send them to your loved one, don’t you think?
My card was created with a wedding in mind, I have a friend that soon will tie the knot and I thought it would be great to send her a card to wish them all the best!
I used products from the Frosted Floral suite, which is a new suite from the brand new holiday catalog.. have you seen it already?? This new catalog is AMAZING!!! (you can check it out here) all the suites are so beautiful!! and this one happens to be one of my favorites as I believe it is very versatile, and can be used for so many occasions, it might need to be paired with other sentiment sets, but the images on this set are perfect for so many type of cards, like birthdays, get well soon, thinking of you, thank you, mother’s day, etc, like I said so many occasions come to mind 🙂
One thing I love about the frosted bouquet framelits is that it has duplicate of some of the flowers, so you can die cut flowers faster, which I think it is really great to have.
From the close up picture you can see better the flowers, I show in the video below how to color these, it is a technique I use with the markers, so be sure to watch the video to learn how I do this.
Also check out the gorgeous Frosted Floral specialty designer series paper, this is really nice as all the designs were printed in shimmer paper so it looks fantastic. Also on one side you have a floral design and on the other side you have a monocromatic design, so it is great to make cards that color coordinate really well, and this also makes it so easy to design your cards.
