Hello Friends! Do you make Halloween cards?? I love to make this type of cards! and October is the month to make Halloween cards, as well as treat holders! During this month I will be posting several projects for Halloween, so make sure to keep visiting my blog 🙂
The card I am showing today features the Toil and Trouble designer series paper!! I got to be honest but this year Stampin’ Up! did fabulous work designing the Halloween products! You will fall in love with all the different products available for this holiday!
The Toil and Trouble designer series paper has lots of images that can be fussy cut or even better can be die cut with the Cauldron Framelits Dies! so if you don’t like fussy cutting you can use the framelits from this suite to cut several of the images..
There are some images that does not have dies to cut, however I love watching TV on a relaxing afternoon and fussy cut several of the images all at once, so that next time I am on my crafting room I can just put my mind into the designing of my cards or just assembling cards if I am doing multiples of the same.. so I find that fussy cutting is actually relaxing.. 🙂
The Pumpkins in the designer series paper do not have framelits to die cut them, so all of these were fussy cut, the witch hat does have a framelit, however I fussy cut it as well 😉
Now did you see the bats on this card??? You guess it! there is a new punch to cut bats! this is the new Spooky Bats Punch, and it cuts three different bats!
If you see close to the bats you can see that I added wink of stella to the bats as well as the star, so it has a glimmery look!! I absolutely love Wink of Stella! I can truly say that it makes any project look 1000 times better 🙂
If you are wondering where did that star came from, this was a die from the Takeout thinlits set! which make a cute little treat holder that looks like a takeout box and it has several images that can be cut so you have little treats for multiple occasions, I recommend the takeout treats bundle as it would be perfect to make little gifts for so many occasions, like Birthday, Valentines, Halloween, Christmas, Teachers gifts, Showers, graduations, etc!! multiple options I promise you will not regret add this bundle to your collection!
Watch the video tutorial below, where I go over measurements, tips and tricks on how to make this card. You will see that this card is so easy to duplicate!!
Below is the supply list for all the items I used to make this card. You can click at any of the images to go to my online store, where you can purchase any of these items!! There is also information regarding the card classes To-Go that I have available during October!
