Looking for card ideas with the Hydrangea Hill Suite from Stampin’ Up? look no more, as I am sharing with you three easy card ides that you will want to recreate right away!
The Hydrangea Hill Suite is such a beautiful suite.. mainly because it is all purple! and if you know me, you know I love purple!! So I couldn’t be more excited when I saw this whole collection.
The sad part is that at the time I am posting these ideas the Purple Posy has already retired, but I now that one of the coming colors will go really well with this suite! So fear no more.. you will be able to make beautiful cards if you used the newest color being released in May 2021..
Another thing to know is that for these cards I wanted to share card ideas using the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. This specialty paper is like a window sheet, but has a metallic look. And in this pack it comes in Pink and Purple!
Color Combination
Anyway, as you can imagine I used the designer series paper as the inspiration for the color combination, which you can see below.
This is the easiest way to put together color combinations that you know will look great. If you are ever struggling with color ideas, give this a try. I am sure you will see how easy this is!
The Sketches & Other Details
And as usual I am sharing with you the sketches I used to come up with this cards, you can see all are very simple. The focal point is really what make these cards to pop up, which as you can see it is a Hydrangea flower.
You can watch the video tutorial below, where you can see exactly how I made this flower. Once you make a few, then it is just matter of adapting them to your sketches to come up with beautiful cards.
And I added an addition card here as a bonus.. this was was super easy as well to make.. you can see that it is just matter to embellish the circle of this card with little flowers that come from the die set from the Hydrangea Haven Bundle.
